Great festival for the whole family! There's special kid areas and activities as well as face painting, rock wall, and more. Vendors had samples of their products and lots of delicious food around everywhere. The festival has performers like jugglers and such and the music is the best. At night, the festival lights up with colored lights and glow in the dark exhibits. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, a really great environment. The scenery is breathtaking with Buffalo Mountain in the background of the Blue Ridge Mountains. For adults, there are several beer gardens and plenty of entertainment also. One of the best festivals around!

Great festival. Lots of activities for anyone interested in the outdoors. Food is great, wide selection of food vendors. The variety of stages for the performances keeps things interesting. The music selection was also great. Camping can get a bit cramped. Almost all of the camping is on a hill.

Floydfest is my favorite music festival! This is my 10th year attending and the music selections and experience keep improving. We love it so much we work as Super Volunteers every year and come up on Tuesday and depart the following Tuesday just so we can stay longer. Imagine taking all your friends and going to go camp in the woods and then many people of similar interests come camp near you and are more often than not friendly and inviting. We always stay in the not so quiet camping and have friends who camp with their whole group nearby so there are great people and music playing in the distance from as early as 9am to as late as 2am (depending on the night) from Thursday to Sunday. The vendor food is a little expensive so budget accordingly or bring your own food to help supplement. In addition to the almost non stop music, there are also events that go on nearby like the bike rides and kayak trips (latter costs extra) plus they just installed a small zip line for the patrons to freely use. One year I brought my bike and rode around all the bike paths and found some neat little areas behind the festival ground I wouldn't have found otherwise. All in all this is by far my favorite out of all the ones I go to during the year.

Floyd Fest was a blast! My first time going and I loved getting to hang out with everyone and listen to amazing music. I got to see Old Crow Medicine Show and a lot of other bands. It was such a chill atmosphere, and everybody was super kind. I got to camp on the side of the mountain and wake up every morning to music. I loved walking around trails in the morning and exploring around the area. Can’t wait to go back!!

HEARTBREAK: FLOYDFEST CANCELLED FOR 2023 Hands down the best fest in the Blue Ridge. Maybe the whole east coast. The loving vibe leaves a glow that endures. Family friendly to the fullest and finest extent. Eclectic music, we always discover new musical treasure.

I'm sad to see the old site go, but I'm sure the new site will be just as magical, if not more. ATW Productions puts on a great event with a great lineup. If the new site has a stage like Hill Holler, they can't go wrong.

Floydfest may be, in my opinion, one of the best kept secrets on the festival circuit (although this has been trending to change in the past years). Growing up in this area, it still to this day blows my mind to see our little area, which lies almost dormant, quiet, and leisure-paced for the majority of year, come to such vibrant life when Floydfest comes to town. The locals are warm and welcoming, embracing the theme of 'world music' that follows Floydfest every year. Unlike some of the other festivals, Floydfest lies far enough outside of major metropolitan areas to truly have a rustic feel rolled in with the energy of the festival. Not just music, but fantastic crafts from local artisans abound. Local restaurants fill their menus with drink and food specials. As many festivals have grown in popularity, they have tended to lose their 'soul'. Not Floydfest. The maintenance of the rustic and intimate setting and feeling are a fundamental pillar of Floydfest and one that the organizers are very passionate about preserving. Should you have the chance, go experience Floydfest. Immerse yourself in this truly unique mix of rustic mountain-ism and modern world music.

Floyd Fest was a humbling experience. Everyone was so nice! From the time I went to park my car till I left every human being I ran into was a peach! The bands rocked! The food was out of this world! The beer garden had so many different flavors! You really cannot beat this!
